 eteria\n\nWHO: All 8th graders who are already in NJHS\n\nThis is a recurr
 ing monthly meeting\, so please mark your calendars for\nthe 3rd Thursday 
 of every month!\n\nMEETING PURPOSE & VOLUNTEER HOURS\n\nThese monthly meet
 ings are designed to be brief and efficient. Their\nprimary purpose is to 
 provide students with an exciting opportunity to\nexplore the volunteer op
 tions available to them. This will help them\neasily plan and complete the
 ir required 15 volunteer hours for the\nschool year.\n\nATTENDANCE & MAKEU
 P POLICY\n\nAttendance is critical to staying informed. If a student is un
 able to\nattend a meeting\, they must take initiative to catch up on the m
 issed\ninformation:\n\nThe student must see Ms. Amara or Ms. Luna at some 
 point before the\nnext monthly meeting.\n\nThey can do this by either drop
 ping in during office hours or\nscheduling a separate time to discuss.\n\n
