Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to continue our National Junior Honor Society journey. 

This year, all 8th grade NJHS meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

First Meeting: Thursday, September 17th

Time: After school

Location: Cafeteria

Who: All 8th graders who are already in NJHS

This is a recurring monthly meeting, so please mark your calendars for the 3rd Thursday of every month!

Meeting Purpose & Volunteer Hours

These monthly meetings are designed to be brief and efficient. Their primary purpose is to provide students with an exciting opportunity to explore the volunteer options available to them. This will help them easily plan and complete their required 15 volunteer hours for the school year.

Attendance & Makeup Policy

Attendance is critical to staying informed. If a student is unable to attend a meeting, they must take initiative to catch up on the missed information:

The student must see Ms. Amara or Ms. Luna at some point before the next monthly meeting.

They can do this by either dropping in during office hours or scheduling a separate time to discuss.
