ATTENTION 7th and 8th GRADE FAMILIES!
Kealing football practice will begin on Monday, August 14, 2023. We will meet in the Large Gym to collect physicals and go over expectations. We will complete our 1st heat acclimation practice after the meeting. Please plan on having your child picked up by 5:15 or having them ride the late bus.
All 7th and 8th grade students with a completed AISD Participation Packet (found here: https://www.austinisd.org/athletics/forms) are welcome to join the team! Completed packets must be brought to the student's first practice.
Practices will be held daily (Monday through Friday) from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Students should wear athletic attire and football cleats or sneakers. Please have students bring a water jug (at least 30 oz) . All other equipment will be provided. Interested students should begin practice ASAP, even if unable to do so on the first day. UIL requires a player to complete 12 practices before they are allowed to play in a game. Please have your student attend the meeting if they want to play football, even if they do not have a completed physical yet.
Game schedules will be shared as soon as they are available.
